Gold Exploration

Tasmanian Exploration
Current gold exploration in Tasmania is aimed at locating additional ore deposits to feed into the bacterial oxidation/carbon-in-leach plant at Beaconsfield. The tenements cover the three most significant historic goldfields in Tasmania.
The Lefroy project and the Mathinna project are located approximately 40 kilometres east and approximately 140 kilometres south-east, respectively, of the Tasmania Mine. It is expected that any significant ore deposits discovered in these areas would be transported to the mill at Beaconsfield.
